 The Bruner Foundation has funded a number of projects related to building evaluation capacity, and to evaluative thinking and participatory evaluation. Below is a sample of that work:
Rochester Effectiveness Partnership (REP)
A self-governing partnership of funders, non-profit service provider organizations and evaluation professionals committed to increasing knowledge and use of participatory program evaluation. Comprehensive training and guided evaluation projects were integral components of REP.
Philanthropic Capacity Building Resource (PCBR)
A web accessible database of national foundation programs that build various types of capacity, including evaluations skills.
Evaluative Thinking in Organizations Study (ETHOS)
A year-long interactive study to determine and assess the use of evaluative thinking in partner organizations.
Rochester Community Development Collaborative (RCDC)
Participatory evaluation of a multi-year funding collaborative in Rochester, New York.
