An important goal of the Rudy Bruner Award is to make the creative thinking inherent in our winning urban places and in our Selection Committee discussions available to students and practitioners involved with the urban built environment. Each Rudy Bruner Award cycle is therefore documented in a book containing a detailed case study of each winner, and a distillation of the two Selection Committee discussions. Case studies include information on project history, financing, design, impact and other important measures of success. Selection Committee discussions constitute an important forum on the nature of urban excellence and reflect the thinking of experts from across the country.

Rudy Bruner Award books are available to students, policy makers and practitioners upon request. The standard cost is $15.00 per book, but special arrangements can be made for classroom use.
